Margaret photographed this skinny Buddhist monk wandering in the Thar Desert in north-western India when she was touring there. Originally from the south of England, Margaret now lives in Whitby. She attended a course at the Whitireia Community Polytechnic and paints with the Mana and Kapiti Art Societies.
