Martin Necas

I was born in the Czech Republic and came to New Zealand in 1997.

I am a trained and practicing medical imaging scientist, but I have always maintained a strong connection with visual arts.

My true love is watercolour and that is the only medium I use. I gravitate toward bold, fast and loose impressionist landscapes which capture the natural beauty of New Zealand.
