All Watercolour New Zealand artists-members are eligible to have a directory profile .

WNZ Art Directory is a comprehensive online reference and guide, created to enhance your visibility, promote watercolour art nationally and internationally, help buyers to make better informed decisions when purchasing a painting. As a promotional tool this directory can form the basis of an artists social network. It allows the inclusion of external links to websites or social networking sites.

Artists are also able to add images, include biographical information, provide contact details, and share a whole host of other useful content.

It's an opportunity to be featured on a landing directory page and homepage.

If you are a member and would like to to list your profile and paintings in our Artists' Directory , or if you would like to alter your existing listing, please contact our website administrator .

How to join Watercolour New Zealand's Artists Directory:

STEP 1: Please choose the size and format of your profile

STEP 2: SUBMIT YOUR TEXT AND IMAGES BY EMAIL

Formatting your Images for the Directory Listing

All listings will be required to have at least 2 images.

1) First thumbnail small image (logo)
Required size: 156 x 107 px
Please go to Artists Directory and click on a letter your last name start with. If you see watercolor wash instead of your artwork, it means it's missing. Please choose a painting that represents you, resize it*, name lastname_logo.jpg (i.e. smith_logo.jpg), and email it to us


2) Profile photo
Vertical (portrait) orientation images are recommended over horizontal (landscape) orientation images for the profile (your) photo in the listing. The optimal size is a minimum of 150 pixels wide, the height is variable. Smiling face photos, pictures of you painting, self-portraits (any media) are welcome.
Name it lastname_profile.jpg, and email it to us.

3) 6 images for the mini-gallery
Images are 256 px wide. Standard aspect ratio or square images look the best. Avoid too narrow or long horizontal panoramas.


If you are NOT good at resizing, don't worry - just email your images and we'll do it for you.

How to modify or delete an existing directory listing?

To get maximum value from the benefits of the Watercolour New Zealand's Artists Directory, it is important that your listing is up-to-date. If you want the images or text on your existing profile changed, please email them to us.
